Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RepCap handles information when you use the RepCap mobile application or visit the RepCap website.

RepCap is designed with a privacy-first approach. Workout videos, camera analysis, workout history, and personal profile information are processed and stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to RepCap servers.

2. Information Handled by the RepCap App

Personal Profile Information

You may choose to provide information such as:

• Name or nickname
• Gender
• Birthday or age
• Height
• Weight
• Weight history

This information is stored locally on your device and is used to personalize your experience and calculate workout-related statistics.

RepCap does not upload this profile information to our servers.

Workout Information

RepCap may store workout information such as:

• Repetitions
• Rounds
• Workout duration
• Exercise time
• Break and transition time
• Pace
• Workout history
• Progress statistics

This information is stored locally on your device.

RepCap does not operate a server that receives or stores your workout history.

Camera and Exercise Recognition

RepCap uses your device's camera to recognize supported exercise positions and automatically count repetitions and rounds.

Camera frames and exercise analysis are processed on your device.

RepCap does not upload your camera feed, workout footage, pose information, or exercise-analysis data to our servers.

Videos and Microphone

If you grant camera and microphone permissions, RepCap can record your workout and may create analyzed or timelapse versions of your workout video.

Workout videos remain on your device.

RepCap may temporarily keep working copies of videos on your device in order to provide video-analysis and video-generation features. These files can be removed through the app or may be replaced by later workout recordings.

If you save a video to your Photos library or share it through another application, that copy is controlled by the destination application or service. Deleting the video from RepCap will not automatically delete copies you have saved or shared elsewhere.

3. Device Permissions

Depending on the features you use, RepCap may request access to:

• Camera — to recognize exercises, count repetitions, and record workouts.
• Microphone — to include audio in workout recordings.
• Photos or media storage — to save workout videos when you request it.

You can change these permissions at any time through your device settings.

Some RepCap features may not work without the relevant permissions.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

RepCap may offer subscriptions or other in-app purchases.

Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. RepCap does not collect or store your full credit card or payment-card information.

RepCap uses RevenueCat to manage purchases, subscription status, trial eligibility, and access to premium features.

RevenueCat may process information required to provide these services, including:

• Purchase and subscription history
• Product identifiers
• Transaction information
• App and device information
• An anonymous or pseudonymous App User ID
• Subscription entitlement status

If RepCap does not require you to create an account, RevenueCat may generate an anonymous identifier for your installation.

This information is not used by RepCap to access your workout videos, camera recordings, personal profile information, or workout history.

5. Website Information

When you visit the RepCap website, certain technical information may be processed in order to deliver and protect the website.

Cloudflare

The RepCap website is delivered using Cloudflare.

Cloudflare may process information such as IP addresses, request information, browser or device information, and security signals in order to deliver the website, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability and security.

Google Analytics

The RepCap website may use Google Analytics to understand how people use the website, such as which pages are viewed and whether visitors click links to download RepCap.

Google Analytics is only enabled after you accept optional analytics through the website's consent controls.

Analytics information may include:

• Browser and device information
• Approximate location derived from IP address
• Referrer information
• Page views
• Website interactions

RepCap does not use website analytics to collect information that you enter into the RepCap mobile application.

You can decline optional analytics or change your analytics preference through the website.

6. What RepCap Does Not Collect

RepCap currently does not:

• Require a RepCap account;
• Upload your workout videos to RepCap servers;
• Upload your camera feed or pose-analysis data to RepCap servers;
• Upload your personal profile or body measurements to RepCap servers;
• Upload your workout history to RepCap servers;
• Sell your personal information;
• Use your workout information for advertising;
• Use advertising SDKs to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

If these practices change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when the relevant functionality is introduced.

7. How Information Is Used

Information processed through RepCap and its service providers is used only as necessary to:

• Provide RepCap's workout-tracking features;
• Calculate workout statistics and progress;
• Provide video and analysis features;
• Process and manage purchases and subscriptions;
• Restore purchases;
• Maintain and secure the service;
• Understand website usage when you consent to analytics;
• Troubleshoot technical problems;
• Respond to support or privacy requests;
• Meet applicable legal obligations.

8. Sharing of Information

RepCap does not sell your personal information.

Information may be processed or shared only:

• With service providers necessary to operate RepCap, such as RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and Google Analytics;
• When you intentionally export or share a workout video, statistics card, or other content;
• When required by applicable law or a valid legal request;
• When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of RepCap, its users, or others;
• With your consent.

Third-party services process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Personal profile information, workout statistics, workout history, and locally stored workout content remain on your device until you delete them, clear the application's data, or uninstall the application.

Workout video files managed by RepCap can be deleted through available controls in the application and may also be replaced as new workouts are recorded.

Copies that you save to Photos or share through another service must be deleted separately from those destinations.

Subscription and purchase information processed by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may be retained according to their respective legal obligations and privacy policies.

You may contact us at support@repcap.app to request deletion of personal information processed on our behalf by a service provider such as RevenueCat, where applicable.

Deleting RevenueCat data does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be managed separately through the applicable store.

10. International Processing

Some of the service providers used by RepCap, including RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and Cloudflare, may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

Where applicable, these providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

11. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights relating to personal information, including the right to:

• Request access to personal information;
• Request correction of inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of information;
• Restrict or object to certain processing;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Because most RepCap workout and profile information is stored only on your device, RepCap may not have access to that information and therefore may not be able to retrieve it for you.

You can manage locally stored information directly through the app or by removing the app's data.

You can also:

• Decline optional profile fields;
• Control camera, microphone, and Photos permissions through your device;
• Decline website analytics;
• Change your website analytics preferences;
• Contact us regarding information handled by our service providers.

12. Children's Privacy

RepCap is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Because most personal profile and workout information is stored only on the user's device and is not transmitted to RepCap, we generally do not have access to that information.

If you believe that information relating to a child has been provided to us or one of our service providers inappropriately, please contact us at support@repcap.app.

Additional age or parental-consent requirements may apply depending on the user's country.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed in connection with RepCap.

An important part of RepCap's privacy design is keeping workout videos, camera analysis, workout history, and personal profile information locally on your device rather than transmitting that content to RepCap servers.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are also responsible for protecting access to your device and any workout content you export or share.

14. Third-Party Services

RepCap currently uses or may interact with the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store
• Google Play
• RevenueCat
• Cloudflare
• Google Analytics

These companies maintain their own privacy policies and may process information independently or on our behalf depending on the service they provide.

RepCap is not responsible for information you intentionally share with unrelated third-party applications, social networks, or services.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as RepCap develops or as our legal or technical requirements change.

The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the Privacy Policy was most recently updated.

If we make material changes to how personal information is handled, we may provide additional notice through the application or website where appropriate.
